This is an illustration for Book 9, Obsidian Shadow. Part of the re-introduction of Scio as a character.

Portrait of a man reaching out towards the viewer, casting smoky dark shadows in a big swirl. He's staring into the camera with intense, gold irisses. His hair is black and blue, and he looks focussed and a little cranky, but also a bit amused. It's dark and gloomy. Set in a grey toned dark forest as a background.
