With the firm, otherworldly grace reminiscent of water sprites, they glide across the water’s glossy veneer. The liquid mirror mimics the twinkling cosmos above, enrapturing them in the illusion of ascending towards an cosmic infinity. As the sun’s masterful painting of flaming hues dwindles to the final brushstrokes, they seem to walk not on water but among the stellar canvas of the night sky itself. They travel towards the massive, abandoned but immaculate ship floating elegantly in the distance.
Their journey is wordlessly shared, each footfall breaking into the serenity of the mirrored world, sending ripples racing across the surface, teasing the reflected stars into a shimmering ballet of light. The language of their fascination lies unspoken, instead etched in the shared admiration that gleams in their eyes.
