A tale where gaslight lit the day,
It’s clear to see, wasn’t all my way.
Erroneous blame, on my self lay,
From benevolent’s path, they did stray.
Echoed screams, in heart reside,
Fog obscures, constellation light,
I plead my spirit, let truth guide,
Lack of kindness, can’t always hide.
It wasn’t me, in truth, it was them, I know,
So dear heart, wise up, let these darn clouds go.
By this epiphany, tranquillity regrow,
This mist I banish from my own dear shadow.
