A detailed recreation and reimagining of the illustration and artwork of the 1907 first edition cover design of The Olive Fairy, a collection of fairytales translated by Leonora Blanche Alleyne, edited by Andrew Lang, and originally illustrated by Henry Justice Ford.
Pieced together from fragments and photos with the help of some friendly book collectors, I decided to rescue this artwork before it completely fades.

And so, I am off to hunt for a new fairy. Since this is part of a series, I might find another one that needs a bit of help.
